Nello IOVINE, 1935 ✿

Nello Iovine Italian painter, born in 1935, attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. He began his artistic activity in 1947, portraying everything that surrounded him, from the landscape to the still life up to the figure; among other things, he executed numerous portraits, also of personalities from politics and culture.

At the age of 18, in 1954, he held his first personal exhibition in Salerno and in that period he exhibited at the Rome art quadriennial. In the sixties he was discovered by a renowned American gallery, which commissioned him a long series of paintings.
