Armen Gasparian (Армен Гаспарян) is an Armenian painter born in 1966. he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of St. Petersburg from 1988 to 1993. Once he graduated, he did not leave the Russian city where he currently lives.
His universe evokes Renaissance paintings as well as Byzantine frescoes. His subjects are diverse, but their are aesthetically harmonious. His compositions are tinged with mystery, they catch the view of the observer and invite him to enter in this oneiric world.
Armen Gasparian exhibits his work in Russia, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Italy, France and the United States since 1992.
