Leopold Franz KOWALSKI (French, 1856-1931) ✿

Post-Impressionist artist Leopold Franz Kowalski was born in Paris of German descent and began painting professionally after studying under street artist in Paris.
Kowalski produced a variety of genre scenes, including figure studies, portraits and landscapes.
Graduated from the school of fine arts, studied with famous French artists Henri Lehmann and Jean Pillar.
From 1891 he began to exhibit his work at the Paris exhibitions.
