✿ DASIL (David Silva) ✿

'DonaTi a me
steso .udo
su una tastiera di Mozart
a minuettare
il mio nome...'

~ Catherine LA ROSE©2010 ~
'Da oggi che son qui
come un velo celeste
a bere le tue gocce
di elisir di musica...
Una farfalla svolazzante sul tuo petto
ha percepito i battiti
caldi ed eleganti
fisarmonica del tuo tempo
mantice respiro dei tiepido settembre...'

~ Catherine LA ROSE©2010 ~

'Sulle note stridule
di offese lame di violini
mi spezzo il cuore
davanti al mio sterile canto
e con l'anima cucita sotto il cuscino

m'abbandono..mi piego a terra..
mi paralizzo... mi congelo
e mentre sostengo l'inchino dolore
servo impietrita e muta
le pieghe indegne

David know as DASIL born in Mexico, and resident of Montreal, Canada, since 2002, Dasil is a professional, self-taught, fine art artist, continuously active for almost twenty years.
In parallel with a multi-year career in commercial photography, corporate communications and television programming production, Dasil has developed a rich pictorial work, original and very personal. Upon his arrival in his new adoptive country, he confirmed his firm will to devote himself totally from now on to the development of his painting.
Working as well with acrylics, oils or inks, Dasil presents imaginative figurative paintings, responding to a mix of influences going from surrealism to classicism, fantastic, allegoric or sacred art. The fineness and the precision of the drawings are enhanced by the richness of the colors and hues, allowing the artist to share with us some of his passions, such as music, mythology, or history. The whole of his work is meant to be a celebration of life. To the more careful observer, Dasil loves to 6offer fine composite and complex images, with hidden details and compositions, then revealing a secondary symbolism which remains for ever vivid.
Dasil's works are shown on a permanent basis in a few Canadian art galleries, and are part of many private collections, be it in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Argentina, Spain, France and Germany.
