Guglielmo Zocchi (Florence, 1874 - 1920) was an Italian painter, born in Florence in 1874, the artist was a pupil of Tito Conti, whose lesson he took up in portraiture. However, Zocchi specialized almost exclusively in genre paintings with a Greek and Roman setting, which enjoyed vast success with foreign audiences, especially Anglo-Saxon and American.
